BOYS RECREATIONAL BASKETBALL LEAGUES

• Boys: 3rd-4th Grade Rec League

•  Boys: 5th-6th Grade Rec League

•  Boys: 7th-8th Grade Rec League

•  Boys: 9th-11th Grade Rec League

LTBBL Rec Basketball Leagues focus on the development of individual and team building basketball skills, as well as character development.  Teams practice for one hour twice a week, with competitive games played weekly on Saturdays.  Coaches are all volunteers, approved by the LTBBL Board.

PRACTICE:

Plan for practices to begin early-December for boys rec leagues. There will be two practices a week in the evenings at various Lawrence Township elementary and middle school gyms.

• MSDLT Winter Break- No practices during break,  Week of 1/6/26: School & practice resumes

GAMES:

Games will be played at either a MSDLT Middle school, Craig Academy Large Gym (formely LECC) or the Lawrence Central Fieldhouse. A specific schedule will be made once the teams are put together.

• Regular Season Games: Start on Saturday January 24, 2026 - All LTBBL Rec leagues games continue on every Saturday through Saturday March 7. 2026
• Tournament: Single elimination tournament starting the week of March 9th, with the Finals on Saturday March 21,2026.
  

SKILLS EVALUATIONS:

All players required to attend an evaluation.

• Register on-line before attending an evaluation session. 
  
• Players will be put through shooting, passing, and dribbling drills as well as 3-on-3 scrimmages.
• Uniform sizing will be taken at evaluation
• Only need to attend ONE session
• All evaluations will be held at Fall Creek Valley Middle School

After evaluations, the teams will then be formed, and coaches will be assigned to each team - and registered players will be contacted directly with this information.
